WILEY, Grace Anne - Peacefully, at the Ian Anderson House, Oakville, on Saturday, April 14, 2012, at the age of 74. Beloved wife of the late John Wiley. Loving mother of Martha Groot (Steve) and Mark Wiley (Caroline). Proud Nana of Jason, Jeremy, Eric, Claire, Megan and Rachel. Much loved daughter of Ruth Chadwick and the late Bill Chadwick. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter "Neweduk - Erin Mills" Chapel, 1981 Dundas St. W., Mississauga (just east of Erin Mills Pkwy.) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday. A service of remembrance will be held at the Clarkson Road Presbyterian Church, 1338 Clarkson Rd. N., Mississauga, on Wednesday, April 18, 2012, at 1 o'clock, with a luncheon following. John Wiley's passing

I missed the funeral but I was there the day before at the funeral home and met some of you and John's family. Very sad and still relatively young. Makes one realize the finality of our days. But, life belongs to the living and time goes on. I am looking forward to meeting many of you in September at the Pleasant View golf course. Just a note to thank whoever set this up for us. I managed to navigate it on my third try. Great idea. Thanks also for the picture of those attending John Wiley's funeral. Unfortunately I was on my way across the Atlantic but it was nice to see such a large contingent in attendance. John will be sorely missed. Europe was grand but there was a drought of fairly serious dimensions while we were there. 18 days virtually without rain. The Danube is low and they told me the Po river in Italy is about dry. Won't go on but I would be grateful if the person who created this blog for our year would tell me how. I would like to set up my own so that I can rage on about beef industry affairs.
